MANUFACTURING
This is our first love. Formica excitedly seeks to play a leading role in ensuring manufacturing work steadily returns to the United States. While capable of performing some work in-house, we have special relationships with a list of local, regional, and national suppliers that can produce economical and/or high-precision components for your device, assembly, or stand-alone part.
Reverse Engineering to Manufacture
Our original Core Competency. We specialize in reverse engineering low to mid-complexity mechatronic and electromechanical devices and complex mechanical assemblies that require multiple modes of manufacture. Formica is not built for economies of scale. We leverage our flexibility and supplier base to supply low to mid quantity production runs and lot sizes as opposed to high-overhead industrial runs.
Final Integration & Test
Our products usually require multiple niche manufacturing processes that are conducted in series and in parallel. Quality control and Inspection/Testing to design specifications are inherent to delivering a product that will function for the entire design lifecycle. We have and will always continue to invest in our testing and inspection capabilities. We take subcomponents from our supplier base, assemble them to standard, and test them for proper form, fit, and function to design before they leave our facility.
